AIDATAHUB.io ("we", "us", "our") is an AI tools directory available at www.aidatahub.io. We help individuals and teams discover, compare, and choose AI tools.
2. What data we collect
Analytics (PostHog) — only with your consent
If you accept cookies, we load PostHog (posthog.com), a third-party analytics service. PostHog may set cookies and use localStorage to collect:
- Pages visited and navigation paths
- Referring URL and approximate geographic region (country/city)
- Browser type, operating system, and device type
- Anonymised session identifiers
If you decline cookies, PostHog is never loaded and none of the above is collected.
Theme preference — always
We store your dark/light mode preference in localStorage under the key theme. This never leaves your browser and contains no personal information.
Newsletter subscriptions — only if you opt in
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use it only to send the newsletter and never share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Information you do not provide
We do not require account creation. We do not collect names, payment information, or any other personally identifiable information through the site itself.

5. Third-party services
PostHog — analytics provider. Data is processed on PostHog's servers in the United States. PostHog is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. See posthog.com/privacy for their policy.
Google Fonts — we load fonts from Google's CDN, which may log your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.
Outbound links to AI tool websites (via affiliate or direct links) are governed by those websites' own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their data practices.
6. Data retention
PostHog analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. Newsletter subscriber emails are retained until you unsubscribe. We do not retain any other personal data.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights including access to, rectification, deletion, or portability of your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
8. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
